		<description>Thank you! You make a good point. It would be very interesting to see how things would have developed differently had the March Revolution succeeded. I almost wonder if Germany would have been united sooner than 1871 or if it would have been united at all. Would the world wars have been prevented? It certainly is interesting to speculate.</description>

I always thought it was interesting how after the failed revolution many of the &quot;Forty-Eighters&quot; from Germany went to the US and eventually fought in the Civil War (most for the Union Army). Makes you wonder how both countries would have developed differently if the March Revolution had succeeded.</description>
