Blog Consolidation – Update

After some consideration and the shutting down of a couple of my other blogs, I think I am just going to continue with my blogs as such. I have reduced the number to three (this one, Es Wird Kalt and Und Es Regnet) and I think that will suffice. That is much better than the seven which I had before.

My decision lies in the fact that most of the readers of History Rhymes read this blog for history and not for anything else. So I’ve decided to keep it separate and write only about history here. Everything else will be on Und Es Regnet.

Now it’s time to get back to some history.

Good choice in my personal opinion, but I’m biased, lol.

I too am thinking of condensing some of my sites. However my reasoning is simply time related. I just bit off more than I can fit into my big mouth, lol. Let’s see, I have a main website which needs updating, one blog, two forums, a permanent thread on another person’s forum, and two forums I am maintaining in memory of deceased comrades. This does not include all the blogs and forums I participate in. All the while trying to edit and publish a manuscript due by August 17. Oh what to do?

I think that’s probably the best choice as well. People don’t read this blog to read about technology or about other topics. They come here to read about history.

Yeah, the business of condensing sites is not as easy as it sounds it would seem…. not to mention it’s time consuming.
